🔐 Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) 🔐

Learn how to set up 2FA and secure your account!

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional security layer that helps protect your account by requiring a second verification step when you sign in.

Instead of relying only on your password, 2FA requires a temporary verification code generated by an authenticator app on your device. This helps prevent unauthorized access to your account, even if someone knows your password.

How to activate 2FA

To enable 2FA, follow these steps:

  1. Download an authenticator app
Install an authentication app such as Google Authenticator or Authy on your mobile device.

  2. Start the setup process
Open your account security settings (Account -> 2FA) and select the option to enable 2FA.

  3. Save your recovery key
During setup, you will receive a unique recovery key. Save it in a secure place, such as a password manager or another offline location.

📌 Your recovery key is the only way to restore access to 2FA if you lose your device, so make sure to keep it safe.

  1. Connect your authenticator app
Scan the QR code shown during setup or manually enter the provided key into your authenticator app.

  2. Confirm activation
Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app to complete the setup.

Your account is now protected with 2FA.
